Thank you. Hey, beach lover. If tonight happens to be Valentine's Day, I'm so glad you're here. And if it isn't, that's okay, because love is not a date.
It's a frequency, a feeling, a rhythm. And the ocean has been speaking that rhythm long before we gave it a name. So settle yourself in now. Let your shoulders soften.
Let your tongue rest gently on the roof of your mouth. Unclench the jaw. Unfurrow the brow. Take a slow breath in through the nose.
Soft, slow. Steady. And sigh it out. And exhale.
Again. Inhale. And exhale. Tonight, we're not analyzing love.
We're relaxing. Resting inside it. Let the waves carry you. Imagine you are walking toward the shoreline at sunrise.
The sky is brushed in the soft peach. Pale pink. Lavender light. The air feels fresh.
Silky. Salt-kissed. Slightly cool against your skin. You step out onto the sand.
And something inside you lifts. Almost immediately. The ocean has that effect. It refreshes.
It resets. It washes. Just like love. Love, when it's true, does not deplete you.
It energizes you. It moves through you like a tide of warmth. When you breathe in sea air, tiny, invisible,
multiple particles, negative ions, enter your lungs. And your body responds.
Your nervous system softens. Serotonin rises. Oxytocin flows. The same gentle chemistry that happens
when you are embraced by someone who feels something. And you feel safe. The ocean embraces you, too.
Let's breathe it in now. Inhale. Slow. Steady.
Spacious. Relax. Exhale. Long.
Low. Loose. Inhale. Exhale.
The poet Rumi once wrote, Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love.
It will not lead you astray. The ocean pulls at you like that. Not forcefully, but faithfully.
Wave after wave, it whispers, come closer. Not because you must,
but because it feels good. Exhale. Exhale. Notice how your body responds
when you imagine the waves rolling in. The steady shh. The soft hush. The subtle scissoration of water
meeting sand. That sound alone can shift your mood. Wash away the tension. Rinse the mind.
The beach says, love should feel expansive, uplifting, alive.
Not tight. Not heavy. Not constricted. Like the horizon before you,
wide, open, endless. Love expands you,
the way the sea expands to meet the sky. Take another breath. Inhale. Feel the chest widen.
Exhale. Let the heart soften. Let the heart soften. Let the heart soften.
Let the heart soften. Let the heart soften. Let the heart soften. Let the heart soften.
You are allowed to feel good. You are allowed to feel uplifted. The ocean reminds you. Now,
imagine slipping off your shoes. Barefoot. The sand is coming. sand is cool beneath the surface, warm where the sun has kissed it. You press your feet
gently downward. Grains shift, settle, hold you. There is something ancient about standing barefoot on the earth, grounding, balancing. The same way love grounds us. When love is healthy, it feels like coming home. Not fireworks, not chaos, but steadiness. The kind of steadiness you feel when
you're standing there. Both feet are planted. Walt Whitman once wrote,
You see, I resign myself to you also. I guess what you mean. There is surrender in that line. Resign myself to you.
Trust. Soft trust. The beach says, True love brings balance.
It quiets the buzzing mind. It offers belonging. As you stand there, feel your connection downward
from the soles of your feet to the soles of your feet. Into the sand. Into the earth beneath the shore.
Into something deeper than thought. Imagine roots growing gently downward. Not binding you. Just connecting you.
Love is a connection like that. Not possession. Not pressure. But grounding.
Breathe in. And as you exhale, imagine tension flowing down through your feet into the sand.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.
The earth, can hold it. The ocean can hold it. You don't have to carry it alone.
The poet John Maysfield wrote, I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky. Because something inside us knows
that we are not alone. We belong near water. We belong in rhythm. We belong in connection.
The beach whispers, you are home here. And when love feels like home, it heals.
Now, walk toward the water's edge. The tide is moving in. Then out. In.
And out. Follow it with your breath. Notice the rhythm. Predictable.
Patient. Even when waves grow stronger, they still return. They never abandon the shore.
Love moves like that too. Eb and tide. There are moments of closeness. And moments of space.
But the rhythm remains. The sound of the waves mimics a heartbeat. In. Out.
Pulse. Pause. It's the universal sound of life. Pulse.
Let your breath match the tide now. Pulse. Inhale as the waves roll in. Exhale as it recedes.
In. Out. The beach says, Pulse.
Love is not control. It is trust. It is surrender to the rhythm. You don't command the ocean.
You don't order the tide. You let it move. And you float. Imagine now that you are floating gently on your back in the calm water.
You don't have to swim. You don't have to strive. You simply allow. Trust the saltwater buoyancy beneath you.
Trust your body. Trust the rhythm. The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy,
or too impatient. Love doesn't either. It responds to presence, to patience,
to joy, to peace, to trust. Feel yourself floating now.
Soft. Supported. Safe. If a thought arises,
let it drift like sea foam. If a memory surfaces, let it pass like a cloud. Let it pass like a cloud.
The tide always returns to calm. And so do you. You. If you arrive tonight carrying something tender,
perhaps a longing, perhaps grief, perhaps love that changed shape, perhaps a dream,
perhaps a dream that you've never seen before. The ocean understands. Saltwater recognizes saltwater. Your tears and the sea are not so different.
The Persian poet Khalil Gibran wrote, When love beckons to you, follow him. When love beckons to you,
follow him. When love beckons to you, follow him. Though his ways are hard and steep.
Love is not always gentle, but it is always shaping us. Like waves shape sea glass. What was once sharp
becomes smooth. What was once broken becomes luminous.
Imagine placing whatever feels heavy at the shoreline. Watch as the tide rolls in, covers it,
softens it, carries it a little farther from your chest. You don't have to solve it tonight.
You only have to rest. The beach is holding it for you. Breathe in. Exhale slowly.
Long, low loops. As the sun begins to set, the sky moves. The sky melts into coral,
rose, violet, indigo. You sit quietly
and realize something. The beach isn't only teaching you about romantic love. It's reminding you
of something older. The love of being alive. The love of breath. The love of simply existing.
You are part of this rhythm. Your heartbeat is an echo of the tide. Your breath is an echo of the wind. Your body is mostly water.
You are ocean. You are tide. You are love in motion. The beach says,
love is expansive. Love is grounding. Love is rhythmic trust. And you,
already in space, decided. Let yourself lie back now. Imagine warm sand
supporting your body. The stars appearing overhead in the dark sky. The waves continuing their lullaby.
Shh. Slowly breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in.
Breathe out. You are loved. not because of what you've done, not because of who loves you back,
but because you are here. Breathing. Feeding. Belonging.
Let the waves keep rhythm for you now. In. Out. In.
Out. Drifting. Bloating. Softening.
Sleeping. Sleep gently, beach lover. The ocean is keeping watch. Thank you for letting me share some beach love with you tonight.
And as you drift towards sleep, may you carry the peace of the waves, the steadiness of the tide, the love of the beach,
wherever you are. The beach is speaking. Are you listening? Are you listening?
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
